Role Overview
The Production Planner Executive is responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time delivery. You will bridge the gap among Sales, Procurement, and Production, ensuring our manufacturing floor has the right ingredients and materials at the right time to meet customer demand while minimising waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Master Scheduling: Develop and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts.
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure raw materials and packaging are available, accounting for lead times and seasonal fluctuations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of finished goods and raw materials to prevent overstocking or “stock-outs,” specifically focusing on FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze plant capacity to optimize production runs and minimize machine downtime.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Weekly planning meetings with Sales, Logistics, and Production.
- Any ad-hoc tasks as instructed or assigned by the Superior or Management.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Food Science, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 2 years in production planning, ideally in the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Responsible, punctual, self-motivated, fast learner, and independent personality.
