Terms & Conditions

1. This contest is open to all citizens of Malaysia aged 18 years old and above, except for employees of S&P Industries Sdn Bhd, its affiliates, and/or related companies associated with the contest.

The contest begins at 00:00:00 on 26th February 2024 and closes at 23:59:59 on 20th April 2024. The Organizer reserves the right to shorten or extend the Contest Period without prior notice. All entries received outside the Contest Period shall be automatically disqualified.

This contest is open through all channels and outlets nationwide, including e-commerce/online purchases from the S&P Official Lazada Store/S&P Official Shopee Store.

2. To participate in the Contest

  1. Buy any S&P Santan products in a single receipt at any available outlet with a minimum purchase of RM 20.
  2. Scan the provided QR code, complete the displayed information, and upload a picture of the receipt.

After completing the steps, click the ‘Submit’ button. By doing so, you are already halfway through the journey to winning amazing prizes from S&P SANTAN!

4. Qualifying Criteria & Submission of Entry Contest

  1. For every minimum purchase of RM 20 on any S&P SANTAN products, each participant will be entitled to ONE (1) entry.
  2. Each participant is entitled/eligible to submit more than one entry, but each entry must be accompanied by ONE (1) Original full receipt dated within the contest period and with complete personal details
  3. Each receipt must have a unique receipt number and can only be used once.
  4. Only valid printed receipts dated within the Contest Period with a clear supermarket/outlet name and details of S&P SANTAN products will be accepted.
  5. Participants are required to take a clear photo of the receipt to be submitted and keep the original receipt for verification.
  6. Any receipt that is illegible, mutilated, altered, duplicated, tampered with, not obtained legitimately, contains printing typographical, mechanical, or other errors or the printing is unclear or does not contain the required information is invalid and will not be accepted. The Organizer reserves the sole discretion and rights to disqualify such invalid receipts.
  7. Duplicate and reprinted receipts will not be accepted.
  8. Manual/handwritten receipts will not be accepted.

5. Claiming of prizes

  1. All winners will be announced biweekly during the contest week (8 weeks) on S&P Santan Malaysia Official Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/snpsantan) or S&P Santan Malaysia Official Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/snpsantan/)
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to extend the timeline stated herein owing to reasons beyond the control of the Organizer.
  3. The eligible winners will then be contacted via telephone/email and shall be required to provide the original purchase receipt that matches the winning entry as proof of purchase before being declared a winner.
  4. All winners will be contacted by the Organizer via the contact/mobile numbers from which the Organizer received in the Qualified Entries.
  5. Should the first attempt to contact the eligible winner fail, i.e. no reply, telephone number not in service or no connection, etc, the Organizer shall make THREE (3) attempts to contact each winner for the claim of prizes. In the event of an unsuccessful attempt by the Organizer to contact the winners, the winners will then be disqualified and be replaced by the next participants. The Organizer will not be held liable in the event the eligible winners cannot be contacted for whatever reasons.
  6. The Organizer retains the right to substitute any prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is no longer available.
  7. The prizes are not transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash. The Organizer will not entertain any complaints on the quality or defects of the prize after handling the prize to a winner.
  8. Each participant is eligible to win only (1) prize during the contest period

6. Prizes Judging Details

The eligible Prize winners will be determined by random, based on the total submissions within the stipulated contest period, which meet all criteria.

General Terms

7. The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any contest entries or contestants that are found or suspected of cheating/hacking/tampering with the contest submission process.

8. All participants shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any accident, injury, damage, or claims resulting from the participation in this Contest.

7. The Organiser reserves the right to modify the contest mechanisms, withdraw, or terminate this Contest at any time at its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice to any person.

8. The Organiser’s decision shall be final. Any queries and/or correspondence about the decision made by the Organiser will not be entertained.

9. By participating in this Contest, participants consent to give their personal information and the Organizer reserves the right to publish, and use the winners’ names and/or photographs plus their entries for purposes of publicity, advertising, and/or trade without further compensation or notice and each participant waives their right to make any claims for the use of their entries by the Organizer.

10. The Organizer will not be responsible or liable for any loss in connection with the Contest, including, but not limited to the following:

  • Any problem, loss, or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by any party due to any delay and/or failure in receiving and sending the entry as a result of any network, communication, or system error, interruption, and/or failure experience by the participating internet line and/or resulting from participants or the downloading of any materials in the Contest. In the event of such error, interruption, and or failure, the Organizer will not be responsible or liable for any failure by any Eligible participants to participate in the Contest at any time.
  • Any problems, expenses, damages, losses, suits, and claims of whatsoever nature against any Eligible Contestant that may arise from or in connection with their participation in the Contest and/or display of Eligible participants’ entries.
  • Any error (including error in notification of Contest winners), omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, internet line failure, theft, destruction of, or unauthorized access to entries, PC hang whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.

11. By participating in this Contest, all Eligible participants agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Organizer harmless from and against any suits, claims, losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees that may arise from or in connection with the Contest.

12. Any Terms and Conditions applicable to this Contest which is illegal, prohibited, or unenforceable under any law or regulation shall be ineffective to the extent of such illegality, voidness, prohibition, or unenforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions.

13. Privacy Notice

  1. By participating in this Contest, all Eligible participants hereby warrant that all statements and personal details given are true, correct, accurate, and complete and that they have read and understood all the Terms and Conditions of this Contest and agree to be unconditionally bound by it.
  2. By participating in the Contest, the participants hereby give their consent to and authorize the Organizer to collect, store, use, and process their names, Identification Numbers (IC), and other particulars [“Personal Data”] to run the Contest, including but not limited to announcing and publishing Personal Data and/or photos of the Contestant at the Organizer’s website for advertising and publicity purposes.
  3. Under the laws of Malaysia, the rights of Contestant include:
  4. The rights to withdraw their consent for the use of Personal Data at any time by contacting the Organizer at the contact details mentioned below by providing the Organizer with the Participant’s name and email address for removal of the said Personal Data;
  5. The rights to obtain a copy of the Personal Data which the Organizer holds; and
  6. The right to correct inaccurate Personal Data.
  1. The Organizer will take reasonable precautions to keep the participant’s Personal Data secure and shall ensure the third-party processors do the same. However, the Organizer may disclose the participant’s Personal Data if required by law, search warrant, subpoena, or court order.
  2. Any matter to the Personal Data relating to this Contest shall be governed by and dealt with in the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and any other relevant laws in Malaysia.

14. By participating in this Contest, participants have read and agreed to be bound by the Contest Terms and Conditions and decisions of the Organizer.

15. The Organizer reserves the right to amend, delete, or add to these Contest Terms & Conditions or even cancel the Contest without any prior notice at any time and the participants agree to be bound to such changes.

16. The Organizers’ decision is final. Any letters, inquiries, appeals, or protests will not be entertained. Participants hereby agree that no further action will be taken against the Organizer.
