In 1983, S&P Industries Sdn Bhd [SPI] pioneered the manufacturing and production of instant coconut milk powder in Malaysia. The result – Santan™ Instant Coconut milk Powder become the first food of its kind in Malaysia and currently is still Malaysia’s leading brand. The breakthrough provided manufacturers and consumers with natural coconut milk – an essential ingredient for a wide and varied range of dishes – whenever they like.

Turning the aromatic flavour and taste of real coconuts into instant coconut milk powder is a highly technical process. The heart of the process is our state-of-the-art spray dryer which converts freshly squeezed coconut milk into instant coconut milk powder.
At all levels of the process – from coconut milk extraction to pasteurization to packing – SPI strictly maintains stringent hygienic and production standards to produce an award winning product.
